Lots of change, the largest being my daughter arriving 2 months earlier than expected. I could have never anticipated what new experiences or challenges 2011 would end up holding for me, but suffice it to say I am happy to greet 2012. The below images: one for each month of the year. The theme here is pretty blatant, but I unashamedly post these in love for my amazing daughter and how she made 2011 the most memorable year of my life.

During our time there, Josiah and I went snowshoeing a short drive out of the city. This was my first time strapping on snowshoes, which turned out to be more difficult to traverse in than I had realized! After following a forest road for some time, Josiah and I decided to take a side trail, which turned into creating our own route up and then down the surrounding terrain. Below are just a few images from our snowshoe adventure.

Carter and Julia, the kids pictured below, are two individuals with more unique personality, energy and love than most kids I have encountered! These photos only reflect a small part of them. These images were taken at Juanita Bay Park, a great place to go just about any time of year.

A few of the locations that we visited this time were Daniel Smith, Richmond Beach and the Redhook Brewery. Below are a few photos from our trip to the beach with our dear cousins Krista and Daniel Fogt. For some reason, I felt like really tweaking with the photos, applying heavy vignettes, ramping up the detail, messing with the color saturation and the vibrancy. I like the results, which I think ended up somewhere between cross processing and lomography.
