Sarah and Matts’ Wedding
Here they are, a few of my favorite selects from the wedding of Sarah and Matt Eichelberger. Enough said!

On May 8th, I had the wonderful opportunity of witnessing and photographing the marriage Sarah and Matt Eichelberger in Bellevue, Washington. Before this big day arrived, Sarah, Matt and I spent some time together in downtown Kirkland taking some engagement photos. Below are a few images from that day, with photos from the wedding soon to come.

Although it has been nearly a YEAR since my posting with images from a day hike at Cougar Mountain, the video below was “shot” the very same trip (on my mkII). The reason I have been procrastinating is that I have not had any video editing software until yesterday. Although I own the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Suite, there are no apps for editing video with is in the package. So currently I am running a thirty day trail of Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. Yes, the music is cheesy. Yes, the shots are shaky. Yes, the transitions are lacking. Yes, this is my first video edit. But who cares! You have to start someplace, and it seems that this is my starting line.
Ah yes. The tulips are once again in bloom up yonder in Skagit Valley. A few years ago a group of friends and I decided it would be cool to go up and see the famous tulip feilds. Little did we know that we were a week late. We arrived to find the tulip fields naked and bare.
This year my wife and I decided that before heading up to Skagit Valley, we would check and make sure that the tulips were still around. After battling backed up exit ramps and spilled lattes we finally made it to the fields. Although we spent $14 for parking twice at different fields, the drive and cost were more than worth it. Below are a few snapshots from the trip. Enjoy.

Plane sight

Earlier this week, we Seattleites were bombarded by wave upon wave of electromagnetic radiation. Some of you who might be reading this elsewhere probably know this phenomenon by its more common name, sunlight. Yes, DIRECT sunlight! Quite an experience it was. Below are a few pictures from one such sunny day.
I am happy to announce that (for a time) I have completed the Sato Experiment. The three images that I have chosen can be viewed on my website in the “Projects” gallery. Please take a few moments to drop by and take a peek. In other news, my awesome friend Vanessa Rudloff (who can be seen below with Asha) is going to be showing some of her work in LA on May 16th at Arundel Books on Beverly Blvd. Vanessa will be revealing a nude series she just shot in a local Seattle bookstore called ‘Beauty and the books’. If I was anywhere near LA on May 16th, Asha and I would be the first ones in the door. Way to go Vanessa!
