Whenever friends come into town for a visit, we try take them to our favorite places in the area. A few of the locations that we visited this time were Daniel Smith, Richmond Beach and the Redhook Brewery. Below are a few photos from our trip to the beach with our dear cousins Krista and Daniel Fogt. For some reason, I felt like really tweaking with the photos, applying heavy vignettes, ramping up the detail, messing with the color saturation and the vibrancy. I like the results, which I think ended up somewhere between cross processing and lomography.

Sarah and Matts’ Wedding
Here they are, a few of my favorite selects from the wedding of Sarah and Matt Eichelberger. Enough said!

Remember way back when I spent a few days in the Yakima Valley photographing at a hops farm? Well that very same farm was featured on a History Channel show called Food Tech. Last year, I was contacted by a producer at the History Channel about using a photos of mine in the program. Now, a year later, the program with an episode titled Hops Yard aired and I almost missed it. You can view my two seconds of fame at the end of the episode (about 2:32) when they flash the below photo of the fully grown hops. Here is a link to the show, Food Tech – Hops Yard.
On May 8th, I had the wonderful opportunity of witnessing and photographing the marriage Sarah and Matt Eichelberger in Bellevue, Washington. Before this big day arrived, Sarah, Matt and I spent some time together in downtown Kirkland taking some engagement photos. Below are a few images from that day, with photos from the wedding soon to come.

Living in the Pacific Northwest means that whenever the sun decides to peek out for a day or two, we are all drawn like ants to honey into the warm rays. My wife and I are no exception. On our way back from running a few errands, Asha insisted in stopping for some ice cream and a walk through the park. I obliged and happily shot a few photos during our excursion. Below are my selects.
